Living on Purpose: A 40-Day Journey

We are living in a cultural moment where many of the things that once gave life meaning no longer carry the weight they used to. For many, that has created anxiety, intensity, and exhaustion. People are asking big questions — sometimes quietly, sometimes urgently — even if they don’t yet have language for them.

What is my life for?
What actually gives direction and meaning?
What is worth giving myself to?

Living on Purpose is a 40-day journey designed to meet those questions with clarity, peace, and hope.

This series is not about striving harder, fixing yourself, or setting better goals. It’s about re-centering our lives around the Kingdom of God and rediscovering purpose as something we receive, not something we manufacture. Together, we’ll explore what it means to live aligned with what God is already doing in the world.

Our hope is that this journey gives our church direction for living with clarity in a noisy, reactive culture — and reassurance that purpose is not reserved for dramatic callings or extraordinary moments. Purpose is found in everyday obedience, shared community, and love that shapes how we live.

What to Expect Each Week

Each Sunday message will focus on one of God’s core purposes for our lives, grounded in Scripture and made practical for real life. These messages are designed to inspire you, challenge you, and give you clear next steps.

Daily Devotional Readings

To help these truths sink in beyond Sunday, we are inviting everyone to engage with "What on Earth Am I Here For?" by Rick Warren.

You can participate in one of two ways:

  • Daily reading from the book

  • Daily audio devotional version, perfect for commutes or quiet moments.

These short daily reflections are meant to reinforce the weekly message and keep you centered on God’s purpose throughout the week.

You can pick up a hard copy of the book Sunday for only $10.

Six-Week Small Groups
Transformation happens best in community. During this series, we are offering six-week small groups where you can process what you are learning, ask questions, and walk this journey alongside others.

In these groups you will:

  • Reflect on the weekly message

  • Discuss insights from the daily readings or audio devotionals

  • Pray together and encourage one another

  • Build meaningful connections

A Special Invitation to Host
As we prepare for this series, we are realizing we need more host homes to make space for everyone who wants to participate. Hosting does not require teaching or having all the answers. It simply means opening your home, creating a welcoming environment, and helping people connect.

If you have ever thought, “I’m not a leader,” or “My place isn’t perfect,” this might be exactly the opportunity God is inviting you into. Hospitality is one of the most powerful ways we live on purpose together.

If you are willing to host a group for these six weeks, we would love to support you and walk alongside you.
